Overslept and Rushing to Class?

College + late night library + only a few hours sleep + waking up late = only a few minutes to throw something on and book it to class. You must take the time to get dressed— which will leaves no time for your hair—so you go to class feeling like there is a sign posted on your head saying “I am having a “bad hair day”…

Below are ways to do your hair when you’re pressed for time. Your hair will look hot, and no one will ever know you slept in!

Get rid of frizz and make your ‘do look fresh

Your hair is fresh the day it is shampooed and styled but that “second day hair” is sometimes dry and frizzy. With an easy trick you can beat frizz: Grab some Moisture Plus Moisturizer, first apply to your ends then to your scalp hair, next rub and let your fingers meet in the middle of your strands for even distribution.  Now grab about 5 sentinel rollers then place 5 large sections throughout—the key is to be sure the ends are smooth then set for 5 min while you get dress—and you will be out the door before you know it. For natural hair, twist before rolling, and for shorter hair use more sections.

Girl, just headband it

All you need is to headband from the Hair Doctor’s approved tool list. Make sure you choose a headband with the inside ribbon instead of the teeth. Apply the Naturally Textured Moisturizer to your hair line then allow your fingers to flow to the ends. Next smooth out your hairline with the palm of your hand, and then pull on a wide headband to cover up messier strands and look instantly polished. Try a headband in an outfit-coordinating shade for a super-trendy look that’s very right-now.

Do a pull back

This is the basic quick-fix style for most college girls because it takes seconds to do. First spray Sculptor Set alone hair hairline, and then use the side of a small tooth comb with the teeth pressing down into the hair, being careful not to scratch the scalp. Next gather your hair on top of your head and wrap a cloth shiny pony tail holder around 2 times. Next, shape the bun with a few bobby pins, not hair pins. And for the last touch, place the tail of the comb under the hair in the crown and lift for a little volume, then finish with a spray of Sculptor Mist.

Twist/braid and flow

With a little practice anyone can do it. Apply Hair Vitamins to front of your hair line. Part your hair to the side then twist or braid across your hairline, securing with an extra small ponytail holder. Now leave the rest of your hair flowing. If you have natural hair this is even easier.
