10 You said food products as deep conditioners leave stuff behind...I thought that was the point of a deep conditioner? I am using a commercial deep conditioner and I can tell it's leaving something behind, is that bad? Should I be looking for a deep conditioner that rinses clean? thanks in advance
10 Hi! Mrs. Akbari first I want to say that you are one of the most sweetest and kindest individuals I've ever seen on YouTube I have not witness many. Secondly, as far as hair goes I'm still transitioning, I have been for 6 months and during that time I have been knotting up which of course leads to breakage. So my question is do you think getting a fade hair cut 1:46 (not too low to the scalp) can reduce knots 2:22 and help the hair grow out evenly? Also what are the pros and cons 3:04 of getting a fade hair cut, of course not too low to the scalp? Oh! Do you have any tips for managing fades once the hair has been cut and also while it's growing out. Thank You So Much!!
53 Dr. Akbari, I appreciate you for taking the time to answer my questions. I have some more questions. How warm should the water be for shampooing your hair? What is the difference between the creamier shampoos and the clear shampoos 5:43 ? Is one more effective than the other one? I had an old bottle of conditioner and it contained on cones 6:07. It gave me good slip, softness, and manageability. I've found those cones don't work for me. You're awesome!!!
44 How can you tell when natural hair is properly moisturized? when I moisturized 6:56 my hair the next day it's soft but it doesn’t feel like it has moisture in it. and by moisture I mean water. And on top of that it shrinks up sooooo much....however when I spritz w/ water the shrinkage is less. Is this shrinkage 8:37 a sign that my hair is lacking moisture in the strand? what about hydral fatigue?
29 I noticed that your hair is usually out and not in a protective style. I also noticed the same thing w/ the girl who did the Get The Length challenge on youtube. Do you think its essential(especially for natural 4b hair) to wear protective styles to help retain length and minimize tangling and knots?
